Budweiser Beer Review (#10)
Welcome back blog readers! I am sad to inform you all that
this is going to be my tenth and final blog post for you readers. So, for my
final review, I am going to look at an American classic known as Budweiser, who
has marked their beer by calling it “America.” Budweiser actually changed their
cans to say “America” instead of Budweiser. Budweiser is a refreshing beer to
taste, but it is not like Bud Light, their lighter beer.
To start, let’s take a look at the nutritional facts for Budweiser.
Budweiser is on the slightly heavier side, with 145 calories for every twelve
ounces. For carbs, it has roughly 10.6 grams of carbs for every twelve ounces
of beer. Budweiser also has a higher ABV, coming in at five percent per twelve
ounces.
Alright, now let’s discuss some pricing points for
Budweiser. Budweiser cost around the same price as Bud Light, with some
variation depending on the store. Budweiser is offered in your standard six
pack, twelve pack, and thirty pack. For a twelve pack of Budweiser, expect to
spend around $9.99. If you are the type who purchases in large quantities, a
thirty pack of Budweiser will cost you around $24.99, depending on your
preferred store of purchase.
Alright, now let’s compare Budweiser with a few other beers.
For starters, let’s compare it to its “brother” beer of Bud Light. Since it is
a lighter beer, the nutritional facts will be much less. Bud Light has 35 less
calories per twelve ounces than a Budweiser does. For carbs, Bud Light has
around 4 grams of carbs less. The ABV of Bud Light is also less, coming in at
4.2 percent.
For the second comparison, we are going to look at Miller
Genuine Draft, which is a more suitable beer to Budweiser. The ABV of Miller
Genuine Draft is 4.6 percent per twelve ounces, which is very close to
Budweiser. Miller Draft has two fewer calories than Budweiser, at 143. Budweiser
and Miller Genuine Draft are quite similar in terms of nutritional facts, so
they should not factor into your purchase habits too much.
Overall, Budweiser is a solid beer. For me, I can only drink
about two or three before they start giving me a “bloated” feeling, so it is
not my first beer of choice. Besides that point, it is a refreshing beer if you
are not watching your health. I give Budweiser a solid review, so next time you
are out shopping, maybe pick yourself up a six pack to try. I am sure you won’t
be disappointed. Well that’s it for my reviews. I hope you enjoyed them and I
hope you gave some of them a try! Thanks for reading!
